Anime Expeditions Ultimate Farming Guide: How to Get Infinite Gold, Gems & Trait Rerolls! artwork

Sup guys! Like most of you, when I first started playing Anime Expeditions, I thought the game was giving away free stuff like crazy. But as soon as I finished the main story maps and hit the mid-to-late game, I ran straight into a massive wall: *I ran out of Gems to pull units and had zero Trait Crystals left to roll for Unbound.*

I knew there had to be a smarter way to play instead of just randomly grinding. So, I spent days testing every stage, watching how top players farm, and leveling up my own account.

Here is the ultimate resource guide on how to get max Gold, fast Gems, and tons of daily Rerolls without losing your mind!

1. The Gold Farming Secret: Your Offline Money Printer

Gold is super important because you need it to buy daily Trait Crystals. If you are still relying on selling extra blue units from summons to make cash, stop doing that!

The Gold Mine (Expedition Hub)

The absolute king of gold farming in this game is the Gold Mine inside the Expedition Hub.

  • How it works: You just dump your extra Fuel Cells into the machine, walk away, and let it generate gold in the background while you sleep or hang out.
  • The Payout: Dumping 100 Fuel Cells can easily print 100,000 to 300,000+ Gold in just 4 to 8 hours!
  • What to do with the Gold: Take that cash straight to Ramen Guy's Gold Shop and buy out all 25 Trait Crystals every single day!

2. Gems & Sprites: The 2-Minute Boss Farming Method

If you need Gems to hit pity on secret banners or need Sprites to evolve your Mythics, grinding normal story waves takes way too long.

King Stomp Mastery Stage (Micro-Farming)

Under the Infinite/Mastery tab, look for King Stomp's Mastery Act.

  • Why it's insane: This stage ONLY spawns bosses. With a decent damage team, you can clear the entire run in 1 minute and 20 seconds to 2 minutes max.
  • The Rewards: You get 100 Gems per clear PLUS Gray Sprites.
  • Sprite Crafting: You can take those Gray Sprites to the Upgrade Zone and craft them into any color sprite you need to evolve your characters.

3. Daily Trait Rerolls: Where to Get Free Trait Crystals

Want that 0.1% Unbound trait? You’re going to need hundreds of Trait Crystals. Here is every reliable place to get them daily and weekly:

4. Expedition Pro Strategy: The 3-Second "Sabotage" Trick

The Expedition mode is where the true end-game lives. But playing it wrong will waste hours of your time. Here are the rules I live by to farm it fast:

ALWAYS Play Solo (Avoid Matchmaking!)

Do not queue up with random players for Expeditions. Public lobbies load slow, players pick bad paths, and you can't use the restart trick. Playing solo is 10x faster.

Skill Tree Priority (Research Lab)

When upgrading your skill tree in the Expedition Hub, dump all your initial resources into the Blue Path at the bottom!

  • It increases your Payload Unit Cap (+1 character).
  • It unlocks card rerolls and turrets to make clearing runs super easy.
  • Ignore the Yellow (Yen) path—it’s a complete waste of resources early on.

The 3-Second "Restart" Meta

Expedition map layouts are completely randomized.

  • If you load in and see that the Shop is placed too early (so you won't have enough Yen saved up to buy items) or there are too many hard Assault stages, hit Settings ➡️ Restart Game immediately!
  • It takes 3 seconds to restart, generating a brand-new route with easy Defense stages and a Shop right before the Boss!

NEVER Go To Loop 2!

After beating the main boss on your Expedition run, the game will ask if you want to enter Loop 2. DON'T DO IT! Loop 2 enemies scale crazy high, stages take twice as long, and the reward payout is terrible compared to just starting a fresh Loop 1 run.

5. In-Game Loadout & Yen Management

When you hop into an Expedition run, your team setup matters.

The Ideal Team Setup

  • 2 Farm Units: Ramen Guy + Stone Alchemist (Senku) (Mandatory for making cash inside the match!).
  • 1-2 Main Carries: Megumi (Shadow) or 8th Sword (Kempi).
  • 1 Buffer / Support: Forbidden Teacher (Gojo) or The Hero.
  • 1 Stun/CC Unit: Rukia or Puppet.
[2 Farms] + [2 Main Carries] + [1 Buffer] + [1 Stun Support] = Easy Wins

How to Spend Your Yen Inside Matches

Do NOT max out all your farms blindly!

  1. Max out Senku first.
  2. Upgrade Ramen Guy only 2 or 3 times, then STOP.
  3. Save the rest of your cash (around 20k-50k Yen) for when you reach the Checkpoint Shop so you can buy Secret units like Megumi or equip stat anvils!

Summary & Quick Tips

If you remember nothing else, keep these three rules in mind:

  1. Gold Mine = Free Daily Trait Crystals.
  2. King Stomp Mastery = Fastest Gems & Sprites.
  3. Restart bad Expedition runs instantly to save time.

Good luck grinding, everyone! Go build that Gold Mine and get those S-Tier traits!
